Amber Wansten serves as Director of Corporate Communications and Travel, and has held this role since 2016. She also oversees inflight recruiting and corporate events. Wansten began working for Mesa as a Customer Service Agent in Manhattan, Kansas under Air Midwest in 2000. In 2001 she moved to Phoenix to continue her career at the company’s corporate office and since that time has served Mesa in many capacities, including Director of Corporate Events, Reservations Manager, Pass Bureau, and Executive Assistant.
Amber earned her Bachelor of Science in Communications from Arizona State University and also has certifications in Organizational Leadership and Human Resources Management & Services. She was previously certified as Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute.
