Chris Wilson holds the position of Director of Propulsion, overseeing the Mesa aircraft engine and APU program.
He joined Mesa in 2015 as Powerplant Technical Manager before being promoted the role of Engine Shop Manager.
Chris started his aviation career in 1988 as a Mechanics Helper for Emerald Airlines while attending Airframe and Powerplant training. After receiving his A&P license he spent the next 25 years with Continental Express/ExpressJet holding several positions including Line, Heavy Check, and Engine Shop mechanic and inspector before moving into Powerplant Management. As Manager of Powerplants he was responsible for all aspects of engine maintenance, inspection, health, and reliability programs along with MRO shop visit coordination.
Chris earned his Airframe and Powerplant certification from International Aviation Travel Academy and holds several certifications from Pratt and Whitney, Rolls Royce, and GE Aviation.
