Our maintenance team keeps our fleet in the air. We've got 147 aircraft, including the Bombardier CRJ-900, Embraer E175, and Boeing 737. Mesa mechanics are the best in the business, and they prove it by winning the FAA Diamond Award of Excellence year after year.
We are currently looking for maintenance professionals to join our team at our headquarters in Phoenix and our stations in Phoenix, Tucson, Dallas, Houston, Washington Dulles, El Paso, Louisville, and Cincinnati. Mesa offers relocation assistance, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits.
Opportunity beyond the line
Mesa mechanics get the experience of working a big operation, but with the benefit of a small company atmosphere. A&Ps get both line maintenance and hangar maintenance experience, and many get the chance to move into different areas within the department.
Engineering: Fleet Manager, Technical Support, Maintenance Planner, CASS Analyst
Engine Shop: Powerplant Manager, Lead Mechanic, Engine Shop Manager
Quality Assurance: Quality Control Inspector, Regulatory Compliance Auditor, Heavy Check Inspector, Receiving Inspector, and more
Corporate: Maintenance Controller, Maintenance Control Supervisor, Recruiting
Qualifications
Hold a Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) ratings. Meet requirements of 14 CFR Part 65.83
Familiar with parameters and standards established specifically in Federal Aviation Regulations, Parts 43, 65 and 91
Familiar with basic inventory management functions
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work harmoniously with others
Familiar with computer data entry, and Microsoft Windows-based programs
Capable of lifting 75 lbs
Able to work a flexible schedule to include day and night shifts
Willing to travel as needed
Training & pay
Full training, including classroom sessions, is provided. Specific training may vary by base and be held in Houston or remotely.
A&P mechanics receive competitive salaries with annual increases. Premiums include: A&P License, ARA/RII, Engine Run Taxi, lead, and shift differential.
